A KwaZulu-Natal man who raped two women, more than a year apart, has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Overwhelming DNA evidence linked the 33-year-old to the 2017 and 2018 crimes. He was arrested when he fell asleep after raping one of his victims on multiple occasions. A 33-year-old KwaZulu-Natal man, who fell asleep after raping two women on separate occasions in 2017 and 2018 in the Osizweni area, has received a double life sentence for the attacks.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Natasha Kara said on Tuesday that the Madadeni Regional Court had handed down the sentence for the April 2017 and September 2018 crimes.
