📢Our 2023 Annual Report is out! As we reflect on our journey, we're filled with gratitude for the incredible strides we've made in combatting human trafficking and empowering survivors, from our humble beginnings to our expansive reach across Africa, we are proud of how much we’ve grown. Here are some highlights from our 2023 Annual report: - Movement Building: The launch of the African Survivor Coalition, led by survivors themselves to empower and amplify survivor voices and foster collaboration among survivor- led organizations across Africa. - Programs and Initiatives: Thousands reached through awareness campaigns, capacity-building trainings, and climate action initiatives, recognizing the intersection between climate change and human trafficking. - Advocacy & Partnerships: Championing survivor rights on global platforms and collaborating with international organizations for policy change and global support. We're thrilled to introduce two remarkable individuals joining our team: Abdoul BA Aziz and Hervé N'DRI. Abdoul BA , hailing from Senegal, is the visionary founder of two impactful associations these include network of reciprocal exchanges of knowledge and he is the coordinator in Senegal for the global network of religions for the children. Through his tireless efforts, he's facilitated over 100 workshops, empowering 800+ individuals to establish businesses and secure employment. His work with marginalized youth has transformed the lives of 3,500 street and Koranic school children in impoverished areas. We also introduce to you, HerveN'DRI, Executive President of LEISAD, he is a courageous Kuwaiti survivor who escaped human trafficking and now leads a noble mission against irregular migration and trafficking. Experts, including those with lived experience from all over the 🌍 shared knowledge and insights to combat all forms of #HumanTrafficking, from forced labor, exploitation in the digital age, or other forms of coercion.

🎉 Congratulations to Hyab Yohannes, a member of the African Survivor Coalition, for being awarded the prestigious RSE June Almeida Medal for his tireless advocacy and academic contributions to refugee rights and integration. The medal acknowledges Dr. Yohannes' exceptional academic achievements and commitment to public engagement, for providing pro-bono multilingual assistance to refugees, particularly those from the Horn of Africa, and offers life-saving guidance through translation, interpretation, and critical information. Join us as we welcome Bernadette Dety Darba from the DRC and Patricia from Ivory Coast We are thrilled to introduce two incredible individuals joining our team: Bernadette and Gnahöre Patricia. Bernadette is a passionate advocate for women's rights and combating exploitation and human trafficking. She has survived sexual exploitation herself and is a talented musician who spreads hope. Bernadette manages a training center for marginalized individuals and is a leader in the National Task Force for Alliance 8.7, fighting against child labor, modern slavery, and forced labor in the DRC. Her unwavering determination and leadership make her an inspiring Survivor Leader. Gnahöre Patricia is a passionate advocate from Ivory Coast, brings her expertise in journalism and migrant rights to our community. Through her impactful films and relentless advocacy, she sheds light on critical issues surrounding migration and human trafficking.
